Wavin' Flag

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

Born to a throne, stronger than Rome
But Violent prone, poor people zone
But it’s my home, all I have known
Where I got grown, streets we would roam
But out of the darkness, I came the farthest
Among the hardest survival
Learn from these streets, it can be bleak
Except no defeat, surrender retreat

So we struggling, fighting to eat and
We wondering when we’ll be free
So we patiently wait, for that fateful day
It’s not far away, so for now we say

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

So many wars, settling scores
Bringing us promises, leaving us poor
I heard them say, love is the way
Love is the answer, that’s what they say,
But look how they treat us, make us believers
We fight their battles, then they deceive us
Try to control us, they couldn’t hold us
Cause we just move forward like Buffalo Soldiers

But we struggling, fighting to eat
And we wondering, when we’ll be free
So we patiently wait, for that faithful day
It’s not far away, but for now we say

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And everybody will be singing it
(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And you and I will be singing it
(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And we all will be singing it
(Ohhh Ohh Ohh Ohh)

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

When I get older, when I get older
I will be stronger, just like a Waving Flag
Just like a Waving Flag, just like a Waving flag
Flag, flag, Just like a Waving Flag.

In The End...

I have finished watching 117 episodes of Kyo Kara Maoh, and I am so SAD that it's finished! Words cannot say how much I mourn the ending of the most intriguing anime I ever saw in my life! Why do I love it? It isn't the story, it isn't the comedy. What I have fallen in love with is the characters. From sweet Yuuri to the snotty Lords of Shin Makoku, I love them all. The characters created were something that has left a big impression on me. I don't remember feeling this way since I was a ten year old kid. Then I was all over Naruto, Inuyasha, Harry Potter and the like. Haiz... I thought I had grown out of that stage, but it seems that it's still stuck to me. But on the up side, I can now concentrate on studying from PMR...

I don't have any favorite characters. All of them are unique and lovable in their own way. There's Yuuri, who is more or less the main character in the story. He's a peace loving guy who thinks that everything can be solved through talking. It's a bit odd for all the other characters in Shin Makoku because all they ever thought of was war war and war. His really cute in that aspect, always running around trying to  help others and in the end getting saved himself.
Wolfram is Yuuri's fiance, a really beautiful guy, his the blonde one. Swoon worthy green eyes, he has. But please, cut your hair! In the beginning, he was a really spoiled brat, short tempered and proud. But as things wore on, he got better. He really is very likable, even though he is one of the most flawed characters in Kyo Kara Maoh. He has a very funny role as Yuuri's fiance and is always jealous whenever Yuuri gets close to someone. He is convinced that Yuuri is a cheater and a wimp who uses his innocent, cute looks to lure people into falling for him. But he's so cute. I wish they had gotten married before the series ended. Haiz... I regret.
Konrad is Yuuri's sworn protector, godfather and servant. I don't know why I like him so much. Perhaps it's because he is more quiet than the other characters. I also love that he wields the sword. So pro! He's the best swordsman in Shin Makoku and is always there to protect Yuuri. Usually, anyway. Though sometimes I feel a little sick at how... concerned he is for the safety of His Majesty Yuuri.... I mean, come on.
Gwyndel is the oldest brother of the three brothers. ah, yes. They don't look it, but Konrad, Wolfram and Gwyndel are brothers. (Gwyndel is the one with grey hair, and Konrad has brown.) He is the sweetest character in my opinion. He's responsible, he's tough, he is unable to quite understand Yuuri, but tries his best, though he often decides to take matters into his own hands, and this usually ends with Yuuri caught up in some other trouble... and he LOVES CUTE THINGS!!! xD I know what you are thinking. What???? That tough guy likes... cute things? AND he likes to knit to relax. But he isn't too good, though. His kiity cats look like anything other than a kitty cat.
Gunther is Yuuri's tutor. He is most poetic and lives in his own world. He worships the ground Yuuri walks on and clings on to every word he says, and is very jealous of 'that spoiled prince Wolfram' because he is always so close to Yuuri. He is so funny! Both he and Gwyndel are the unwilling 'assistants' of Anassina. Anassina is a scientist. She isn't mad, just a little insane. She has the highest opinion of herself and is crazy about woman's rights. Almost all her experiments require an exercise bike or something to generate energy, hence, Gunther and Gwyndel. And sometimes, they are her test subjects. The outcome is, to put it simply, hilarious.
But I really shouldn't type anymore or I will end up compiling the whole anime into my blog here. Goodbye, Kyo Kara Maoh. Until we meet again...

World Cup 2010

I am no nutty fan of football, let me assure you. I don't get heart attacks over a lose by my favorite team. But to be sure, I am very interested in the matches that my favorite football team plays (though sadly, I hardly get to watch any of them T^T). So now the World Cup has come, a crazy sporting event that causes madness throughout the world... And I too, have been somewhat caught up in that madness. I, Jasmine Chow, declare my utmost loyalty to the team that I have been supporting since the age of 7...

GERMANY!!!!!

I wholeheartedly support you to win the World Cup once more, your opponents are like trash beneath your gold plated and diamond studded feet. They are no match for you, I declare! You shall sweep them away with a well aimed strike of your Golden Foot and clinch World Cup glory as has never before been seen in the world. You have started of to a fabulous start, putting the Australians 6 feet below the ground in your opening match, and now that you have begun, NO ONE can stop YOU!!!!

(Panting) Ok, maybe I am a little nutty, but that's about it. Lastly, I would like to say:

GERMANY FOR THE WORLD CUP!!!!!

A Run Down of the First Half of the Year.

The first half of the year has come and gone. It feels like it was only just yesterday that I was looking at the calender and going "Cheah, PMR so far away, later then study lah." T^T I regret saying that. Now, time is precious, there is a limited supply of it. I am starting to feel all worked up on how I've wasted all that time. I really must practice some self control and discipline (LOTS of it) and start trying to make time. It is possible, though it makes you real sleepy. This holidays is the last chance I have to study properly for my exams and I really have to be serious if I want to get straight A's. It is unfortunate that we have to study language. Sometimes I wander why God had to make things so difficult for us. Why didn't he give us a single universal language? Life would be so much easier than.

It hasn't been such good first half of the year, i will list these down in no order, just with numbers so it's easier to jot them down.

  1. Manchester United LOST to the EPL to Chelsea by ONE point. (CAN YOU BEAT THOSE BLUE CLOWNS????)
  2. For the first time ever, I got a B for Sejarah... It felt like i had failed...
  3. Megan Fox OUT of Transformers... NOOOOOOOO.....
  4. It just wasn't so peaceful in the house this year.
  5. I MISSED SO MANY GREAT MOVIES!!!!!! But I've forgotten some of them already... I wanted to watch Ironman 2, Shrek Forever, Prince of Persia, so many I've forgotten them...
  6. I wish I didn't suddenly have feel stressed out of the blue for no reason other than exams.
  7. I really wish we didn't have so many problems.

But there are things to be happy about too.
  1. I got such GREAT friends... I can't list them out 'cause I might forget to list one of them and it might cause a misunderstanding. You can't blame me. I don't have much memory left in my tiny brain, it's full of PMR facts and i have to leave some space for even more facts. Perhaps it's time to purchase another 10 GB pendrive?
  2. I get to watch KYO KARA MAOH!!! GREAT comedy, GREAT story and GREAT guys =)
  3. Konrad's looks + [(Gwyndel's + Wolfram's) AWESOME personalities] = MY PERFECT GUY =D
  4. Thank goodness debate is over and out...
For the year before us, there are things to hope for =)

  1. WORLD CUP!!!! GERMANY GOGOGOGOGOGO GOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!!
  2. After PMR ...T^T but first, PMR....
  3. My FRIENDS
  4. KYO KARA MAOH!!!!!
  5. A happier time? Less problems?
  6. Studying... BE ENTHUSIASTIC, MAN!!!!
  7. I'm a MAN =D
  8. ? If I could predict everything, Life would be BORING.
Anyway, that's all for now. Wish me Good Luck. Wish YOU Good Luck, Wish Us all Good Luck, Don't we all need it? God Bless You All, have a BRILLIANT, FASCINATING, MARVELOUS second half of 2010.
